Masaomi Hozuki
A member of the Special Elite, and Kenichi Morita's instructor.
With his icy glare and demanding tone, he's capable of completely overwhelming anyone he comes into contact with.
Kenichi has spent seven years under his wing, but still hasn't the slightest clue what the man's thinking at any one time.
All he knows about Hozuki is that his left leg is disabled from a past injury.
Hozuki knows all about Kenichi, though — his personality, his abilities, his flaws — allowing him easily to drive Kenichi into a corner.

A privileged class, who are charged with supervising those bound by Duties.
Members of the Special Elite possess total control over their subjects' basic human rights. For disciplinary purposes, they are permitted to invade the privacy of their charges, and they even have power over their life and death.

Extra! Extra! We've got a big treat for those of you who want a sneak peek at the new, official English localization of Sharin no Kuni: we'll be showing off a special prologue demo movie of the game on Kickstarter Live!
The broadcast is scheduled for this Thursday, December 1, at 6PM PT!
Members of the project team will be on-hand during the broadcast to provide commentary and discussion about the demo, as well as to take your questions in a Q&A session afterwards! You won't want to miss out on this!

For those who haven’t played the Sharin no Kuni, the video is sure to have you itching to find out what happens next. And for those who are familiar with the game's story, the voice of the character is sure to bring back all the feels. Check it out!
