The class president, who's usually glaring coldly at Kenichi.

Although she acts tough, she's clearly weary of her mother's strict discipline. She's spacey enough to forget to write her name on test papers. She's selfish, too, and she hates being teased or made fun of.

"Duty to Remain in Infancy"

  • The word of the parent is absolute, and the bearer must obey, no matter what.
  • A Duty from a bygone era, when the head of the family had absolute authority. It's rarely seen today.

Sachi Mitsuhiro
Sachi Mitsuhiro

Kenichi's spirited classmate. Her energy levels are so high, it can get kind of frightening.

She often confuses those around her with peppy catchphrases that don't make immediate sense. She's extremely sporty, as you might expect, but she's also a quick thinker, and she makes a decent living through online trading. She keeps a keen eye on societal trends, and believes she can predict future ones, too.

"Duty to Observe a 12-hour Day"

  • As a general rule, the bearer must not be up and active for more than 12 hours every day.
  • The bearer is instead put to sleep at the appointed time using special medication.
  • Normally, this Duty is imposed on those who repeatedly waste money on gambling, or other activities, to help them learn the importance of time management.

Some notes about add-ons, a clarification, and other tidbits!

The first week of the campaign has passed, and while we haven't quite hit our goal yet, we're extremely close. In fact, if just one person were to grab the Journey to the Holy Land reward, the campaign would be funded!
Regardless, we have plenty more updates and promotions in the works to help us reach beyond the initial goal and secure both of the stretch goals as well!

Help with add-ons

The first thing we want to do in this update is give everyone a clear and easy-to-understand explanation of how add-ons work!

A short time after the campaign has ended, you will receive an email with a link to a "BackerKit Survey". BackerKit is basically a combination of an order confirmation form and online store. In BackerKit, along with answering survey questions about your plege, you can purchase add-ons.
The full list of add-ons which will be available to purchase is on the campaign page, the first image under the "Rewards" header. This image lists the price of each add-on, not including shipping. There are two ways to pay for your add-ons:

  • You can pay for them directly on BackerKit, in a transaction separate from your Kickstarter contribution.
  • You can increase your pledge amount here on Kickstarter by the amount you plan to spend on BackerKit. For example, if you are backing at the $30 level, but you plan to purchase the tote bag add-on, you would increase your Kickstarter pledge to $55 (without changing your selected reward). Any pledge amount above the cost of your reward tier (plus shipping) will be immediately available to use on BackerKit to purchase add-ons! This method also has the benefit of increasing the campaign's total funding amount, helping us to get closer to our goal and stretch goals.

There is an additional shipping charge for add-ons. Initially, this will be set to the full shipping cost for that individual item. However, after you have finalized your BackerKit order we will adjust your shipping charge to reflect the actual cost of shipping your rewards. You are not charged when you complete the BackerKit survey; all BackerKit orders will be charged simultaneously, at a date to be announced later.

RT campaign results

The next bit of news is the results of the retweet campaign on Twitter!
All in all, we had 685 retweets, which is just shy of the final goal, but out of appreciation for everyone's support, we've decided to make all of the rewards available regardless!

The wallpapers will be distributed via a Kickstarter update sometime this or next week, and all prize winners will be contacted at that time as well!

Clarification on Vita port

Lastly, we have a slight clarification to make:
We did our best to make our update yesterday easy to follow, but just in case it was unclear, all aspects of the Vita port are still locked behind the $120,000 stretch goal.
The wording of the update may have caused some people to inadvertently believe that the digital version of the Vita port was now included in the base goal; this is *not* the case, and we wholeheartedly apologize for any confusion!
